Unfortunately, due to precautions taken against the spread of COVID-19, the pop-up pantries will be suspended until further notice. If you need any financial or food assistance, please reach out to to schedule an appointment to pick up a bag of food or meet with one of the staff members. We will try to help you in any way we can.

The Pop-Up Food Pantry is an initiative to provide assistance to those of the University community—students, staff and faculty—who may be facing food insecurity issues. The Pop-Up Food Pantry offers non-perishable food items, toiletries and feminine hygiene products.

What is Food Insecurity?

Signs of food insecurity include one or more of the following:

  • Skipping meals because of financial restrictions.
  • Stretching a single meal to last all day.
  • Always having to buy cheap, non-nutritious food.
  • Choosing between buying food and other financial obligations.
  • Experiencing anxiety or uncertainty about food availability.


Calls for donations from faculty and staff for the Pop-Up Food Pantry will be posted on this page as the need arises. At this time we are unable to accept donations for the Pop-Up Food Pantry outside of the times when the calls are posted.
