Julie Cilano

Associate Director of Campus Ministry

Julie is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. She attended Louisiana State University and upon graduation worked as the Project Coordinator for Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Baton Rouge for four years. During that time she earned a master's degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University New Orleans. After that, Julie served as the Youth Minister and Director of Religious Education for two years in a parish in Baton Rouge, LA. Julie and her husband Mike then moved to Washington, D.C., where she served for six years as the Campus Minister at George Washington University.

Julie earned a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University and served as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) for Alpha Omega Clinic and Catholic Charities. She went on to work at The Busch School of Business at The Catholic University of America as a Career Coach and Student Experience Manager and taught four Career Discernment courses. Julie has also done parish consulting through the Catholic Leadership Institute and teaches a course called Parish Administration Skills at the Dominican House of Studies. In 2023, Julie began working as the Associate Director of Campus Ministry for The Catholic University of America.
