Alumni Spotlight

Katie Connolly was an all-star leader of Brookland Outreach and Homeless Food Runs for 3 years while getting her undergraduate degree in Social Work. Check out this recent article about her time at Catholic U.

Katie Connolly and her fellow Homeless Food Run leader, Amanda Martin, organized a prayer vigil for Ms. Bobbie in January of 2020. The group had met Ms. Bobbie on their weekly food runs down in NoMA. Amanda remembers Ms. Bobbie as "a very strong woman and a proud woman [who] was a support system for a lot of the other people on K Street.”
