About the Service and Justice Immersion Program

The Catholic University Service & Justice Immersion Program exists to share in and learn from the lived experience of our brothers and sisters around the world. By sharing in the faith, work, and culture of those who welcome us, these experiences become a life-changing moment for the participants. It challenges participants to integrate the values of the Gospel and the social teachings of the Church into their lives and to encourage change in the lives of those around them.

Faculty and Staff Advisors

immersion-advisor.jpgEvery trip has one to two Catholic University staff or faculty members who accompany the students as advisors. The advisors are integral to the program and are tremendous mentors to our students. By participating as an advisor, you not only become an adult leader for a group of students participating in an immersion trip, but you yourself have an opportunity to grow by the experience of community, faith, simple living and service.
