There are many ways to participate and live the life of faith at Catholic University. Check out the options below and stay up to date on upcoming events on The Nest and our social media accounts.

  • Best Buddies

    Student-run club advised by Campus Ministry staff, where students are paired in one-on-one friendships with individuals with intellectual disabilities through social activities. Students can participate beginning in their first semester at CUA.

  • Cardinals for Life (CFL)

    Student-run club advised by Campus Ministry staff, where  students  promote a culture of life through education, prayer, service, and activism on all life issues. Students can join CFL in their first semester at CUA.

  • Cellar Nights

    Weekly social gathering after Wednesday Eucharistic Adoration in the Cellar in Caldwell Hall. Open to all students.
  • CUA on Tap

    Engage in faith discussions and fellowship with guest speakers on Catholic topics. Open to all students.
  • Frassati Night Events (FNE)

    Formerly Friday Night Events, these weekend socials foster community and fun and include things like: Coffeehouse open-mic night, tailgates, lawn games, block party, pro-life gala, and more.
  • Freshman Retreat

    A longstanding weekend retreat that welcomes over 250 new students into the CUA community and encourages them to grow in the Catholic faith. All first-year students are invited.
  • Knights of Columbus (KofC)

    Student-run organization advised by Campus Ministry staff. The KofCs are a national lay organization of Catholic men focused on charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

    Opportunities for Catholic men to grow in faith, friendship, and virtue through weekly and one-off events. Open to all male students.
  • Service & Justice Opportunities

  • Small Groups

    Engage in faith-sharing groups focused on Scripture, theology, or spiritual topics weekly for students seeking spiritual growth and fellowship.

    Students are invited to apply for leadership roles in Campus Ministry after their first semester:

  • Women’s Ministry

    Opportunities for Catholic women to grow in faith, friendship, and virtue through weekly and one-off events. Open to all female students.
  • Women’s Retreat

    A weekend retreat planned by the Campus Ministry staff, open to all undergraduate women. 

  • Undergraduate Retreat

    A new retreat available to up to 200 undergraduate students in early spring focused on building community and helping students continue to grow in faith.
