Meg Hannigan Domínguez, LICSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined NCSSS in 2024 as the Ford Scholars Liaison, overseeing a cohort of MSW students focused on clinical work with individuals experiencing homelessness. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the BSW program. Meg is deeply committed to ending chronic homelessness and promoting social justice, ensuring dignity for individuals through both direct service and systemic advocacy. Prior to joining NCSSS, Meg served for a decade as Assistant Director of Social Services at Miriam's Kitchen in Washington, DC, providing direct support to unhoused individuals. She also lived in El Salvador, where she worked with CRISPAZ (Christians for Peace in El Salvador), leading international delegations, volunteering as an international presidential election observer and English teacher, and later serving on the CRISPAZ Board as Vice President. Meg earned degrees in English, Sociology, and Social Work from Fordham University and spent two years with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, serving in East Los Angeles, CA, and Washington, DC. She remains active in FJV communities and engaged with social justice issues in El Salvador. A native of Queens, NY, Meg lives in Maryland with her husband and three daughters. She enjoys biking, running, exploring history, visiting MLB stadiums, and savoring pupusas.
