Mary Stone Portrait

Graduate Assistant for Music and Liturgy

Mary was born and spent the majority of her childhood in Washington (the real Washington!) State. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Dallas, Mary moved abroad to pursue graduate studies. It was in Rome that Mary developed a deep love for the faith and the life of the Church, particularly the liturgy and sacred music. While studying moral theology at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, she formed a small schola of international students to sing for masses around the Eternal City.

In the fall of 2023, Mary moved to D.C. to study Canon Law at the Catholic University of America. Here she strives to share her passion for sacred music with the students and to enrich the beauty of the campus liturgies through the use of the Church's own sacred musical tradition.
